The closest part of Africa to Western countries, has always attracted us for his ancient history of pharaohs, pyramids and the endless Sahara Desert. The wonderful reefs of the Red Sea, the mountains of the Atlas chain in Morocco with its imperial cities rose on the border of the desert.
Culture

Venture south of brashly loud and proud Hurghada, and you’ll not only find some of Egypt’s best diving but also the epic, wild expanse of the Eastern Desert. Criss-crossed by trade routes dating back to the far reaches of prehistory, and scattered with ancient rock art and lonely ruins, this little-visited area is a desert-adventurer’s dream.
The Sahara Desert
The Sahara is the stuff of dreams, and while much of it is off limits, accessible desert expeditions are possible in Egypt and Morocco. In the last, you can drop down from the epic Atlas Mountains into the dunes that stretch deep into Africa.
The Red Sea
The Red Sea Riviera is where you can enjoy some of the best seaside and family activities in eastern Egypt. Located near the Eastern Desert and south of the Sinai, the Red Sea Riviera is a long coastal area full of beautiful beaches that lead to the Red Sea.
