This itinerary, features two top Zambian destination South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Park. It gives the client a unique safari adventure experience, of the famous lower Zambezi activity ‘the canoeing safari’. South Luangwa will give you an abundance of wildlife experience, as it is a prime wildlife of African’s top destinations and well known for leopards and a home of walking safari which gives clients an opportunity to experience the Famous African walking safari.
On arrival in Lusaka at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport Meet & Greet by our representative, who will assist you with the luggage then show you to the domestic flight check in desk for your flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa National Park and the flight takes about 1hr10min.
When you arrive at Mfuwe Airport the guide /driver from Thornicroft Lodge will welcome and assist you with luggage and transfer you to Thornicroft Lodge where you will spend your first 2 Nights of your unforgettable Zambia safari experience.
Arrive and Check in and then depending on your time of arrival you will go on an afternoon/night game drive which starts around 4 Pm – this activity starts with the afternoon and when it gets dark you will concentrate on nocturnal animals with the help of the spotter, who will be holding a flash light looking for animals. After all is done, make a return to the lodge in time for dinner.
Today your day will start with morning Breakfast, then a morning activity will follow which will be a Game drive or a walking safari leaving the camp around 6:30hrs and returning around 10:30 in time for Lunch, and enjoy your free time to relax and later you get an afternoon tea around 3:30PM then A night Game drive will follow and you will be coming back around 7:30 PM in time for dinner and bed.
Morning Breakfast is served and depending on your flight time to Lusaka, you may leave after the morning game viewing activity. But should your flight be early in the morning you will be taken to the airport after breakfast.
1hr:10 mins Flight to Lusaka and on arrival, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and take you for a 3 hours adventurous transfer through the city of Lusaka which is also one way of exploring this country capital city.
When you get to Kiambi Lodge check in and depending on your time of arrival, you will have lunch then relax and enjoy the view of the river and facilities.
Morning breakfast is served first, then you will be taken for a 3 hrs. guided canoe safari and you will return to the lodge in time for lunch and free time to relax. Later in the afternoon you will go and enjoy the sunset and some wildlife such as elephants, hippos, lots of birds while on a Sunset Boat Cruise.
Today you will have breakfast in the morning and free time for the whole day to relax and enjoy the lodge and its facilities with meals on times.
You will have a chance to try optional Activities such as Village Walk or Fish (Strictly Angling – Catch and release of Tiger Fish).
Morning Breakfast and our driver will take you on a 3 hrs. transfer to Lusaka in time for your flight out of Lusaka.
