This tour, will bring you close to 100 species of mammals and about 606 types of birds which dwell within this park and among them are the: large schools of hippos, large forest hogs and the good-look Uganda kob which are all commonly seen in the tourist villages on the magnificent Mweya Peninsula which prides in a beautiful waterfront located within the shadows of Mountain Rwenzori in Uganda. However, isolated Ishasha Sector is prominent for the resident tree-climbing lions, the Maramagambo forest is habitat to an attractive diversity of monkeys plus birds, the crater lakes hold thousands of the beautiful pink flamingos, while the Kyambura Gorges is habitat to habituated Chimpanzees.

What you will do

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth N.P

Our experienced driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel/airport and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western Uganda, we shall be having beautiful views of the Tea Plantations, and we shall also have lunch on the way in the fort portal town.
After lunch, we shall continue to drive to our destination but on the way, we will see the crater lakes, mountain ranges, a lot of banana plantations and also cross the Equator line from there, we then proceed to the park and where we are going to spend the night inside the park while interacting with the wild animals as we prepare for the following day.

Day 2: Game drives and Boat cruises

In the morning after breakfast, we will go for the morning game drive where we will see wild animals like lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, leopards 1000s of impalas, buffalos, Ugandan kob and many others, bird species.
After the game drive, we go back to the hotel for lunch as we also get ready for the either afternoon or evening boat cruise.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking with in the park

Early in the morning after breakfast, we go for Chimpanzee tracking as we shall get another chance of seeing more other animals while you’re tracking the chimps with in the park.
After chimpanzee tracking, we drive to another destination where we are going to spend another night as the guide goes through the activity to get ready for the next day (game drive for the climbing lions) and other species.

Day 4: Climbing lions game drive

In the morning after breakfast, we will go for the game drive where we expect to see the climbing lions and also see other wild animals as well. After the game drive, we come back to the hotel for lunch, rest a bit and get ready for the following day departure.

Day 5: Drive back to Kampala/Airport

In the morning after breakfast, we will start our journey back to Kampala, either to the hotel or to the airport.
